Merritt Family Enterprises LLC was Formally Organized and Incorporated in The State of Alabama in November of 2020 In Order to Preserve and Protect the Lifelong Work and Ministry of Rev. Dr. Von and Evangelist Mary Merritt.

The Company was Initially Formed to Serve as the Parent Company for Several For-Profit and Non-Profit Entities Founded and Run By Dr. Merritt and Evangelist Mary. and put in place to leave a Legacy of Faith, Love and Service for Their Children and Grandchildren.  These Companies Include:Â

Word Alive Ministries - The Non-Profit Division that is Home to The Word Alive Church In Christ International, Inc. The Virtual Church and Online Preaching & Teaching Ministry Founded and Launched by "The Dunamis Duo" on May 1st of 2020; andÂ

Church Fashion LLC - The For-Profit Division that is Home to The Church Fashion Outlet - A Retail Womens Fashion Boutique Opened and Operated by Evangelist Mary from 2013 - 2015 which was then moved into the Onine Space at ChurchFashioinOutlet.com and which also continues to operate via her eBay Store located at:Â .
Our Story
Merritt Family Enterprises LLC was orignally formed to be the Parent Company of Several For-Profit and Non-Profit Entities. Its Primary Mission was to serve as the Developer, Owner and Property Manager for the Word Alive Church In Christ Community Campus:Â
A Self-Contained Campus with a combined Sanctuary/Community Development Center, A Private, Independent K-12 School System (including an Aquatic Athletic Center connected to the High School), A Private Daycare Center and A Hotel/Convention Center designed to make the Word Alive Church In Christ the Model for the Community-Facing, Community-Focused Church of The Future; completely in line with its Mission to Be:Â The Church In The Heart of The Community with A Heart For The Community.

Dr. Von and Evangelist Mary Merritt. It Is The Vehicle Through Which They Want To Leave A Legacy of Faith, Love & Service for Their Children and Grandchildren and To Lay A Strong and Firm Foundation for The Next Generation.

Merritt Family Enterprises Seeks to Make Maximum Impact In Our Beloved Hometown of Birmingham Alabama and the Surrounding Communities of Jefferson County Alabama by Bringing Together Leadership from The Church, Private Sector Businesses, Local Municipal Government and Community Based Social Services and Advocacy Groups To Help the City of Birmingham to Address The Critical Need for more Affordable Housing, greater Access to Education, Employment and Socioeconomic Support Services for Families.
